I hope you aren't eating while you read this... Yes- I've got the squits Cramping Feeling very knackered Started not last Saturday- no! But the Saturday before! Is that 10 days of pooping through the eye of a needle?! Aaaaaagh! Imodium made no difference As I'm normally effected erm the other way because of the zomorph etc this is not proving to be anywhere near as manageable and I'd be happier welded up! Richard suggested a strategically placed cork but the cat might get shot GP says come back in 3 weeks if you are still hAving the trots 3 weeks!!!!! Nooooooo! Where's that imodium? Perhaps the box could be made into a cork ??? how to be a velvet bulldoser

Hi Jenni
Ooohh no, how awful. I get bad tummys, but nowhere like this!
I don't know what to say, can the pharmacy not give an alternitive more effective product.
Its worrying, have you have diaralite (soory for bad spelling) to keep your lost salt and other things up? I haven't got any to tell you the correct spelling. Suitable for children and adults.
What does rheumy say? This must effect your ra?
Take care. Jane Xxx

Hi Jenni
Nice to hear from you but sorry about the circumstances!
So sorry to hear that you are suffering. I had a bout earlier in the year but that only lasted just over a week but I can remember how horrible it was and the need to not move too far from a loo!! Do hope it soon clears up. Are you continuing to eat otherwise you will be so weak.
Best Wishes
Sue

Hi Jenni, I feel for you, I really do. I had that a few weeks ago, and it lasted well into the third week. I lost over a stone in weight, and had to have a sample sent off, which came back showing I had campylobacter. No idea where I got it, but it took a good while before I felt anywhere near back to normal, which my GP said was only to be expected. Hhope you feel better soon. Kathleen x

have you still got them ?(the squits). If so they really should ask for a stool sample soon so they can determine what it is. I do hope you're not still suffering. Naomi, X

Hi Jenny - I really feel for you and hope you've had a better night's sleep. Keep nagging the GP cos they really need to take this more seriously as it's been going on for so long - I guess there's not a lot you can do except keep topped up with fluids and don't lose your sense of humour. Thinking of you - Sylvia xx Be kinder than is necessary because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Oh Jenni
You poor thing. They do not appear to be looking into this very quickly for you. It has gone on far too long I should think.
I do hope it sorted out soon.
Glad to see your spirits are still good.
How are you other than your tummy problems ?

Well, rose, glad you asked because despite having a distinct snuffly feeling I'm feeling pretty good. Plus, the bloods reveal that this time my crp was 27 and that's tippety tops for me It's not been down there for yonks- years in fact I've been holding off the enbrel as I've still got an unhappy tum So not likely to be that But I did take it last week as I think it's established it's not likely to be infective I just wonder if the ra is in season for good behaviour? The enbrel is most certainly the best drug I've had at controlling the ra bar steroids. how are things with you rose? How are the meds please? Jenni x how to be a velvet bulldoser

Really good news Jenni your CRP is 27, you must be so pleased. Just hope the R.A beast continues to behave for you...
Sorry to hear about your tum problems, could it be inflammatory bowel disease? Not sure if R.A attacks the bowel, does anyone know?
Hope you feel better soon.
Love Rebecca x

Hello Jenni
So so pleased to hear life treating you extremely well at the moment. So good to hear Jenni after what you have been through long may it continue for you.
I am muddling along. Saw Spec in April and said would not give me RTX again as not a noticable difference. Still on Tramadol, paracetamol, changed from Amytip to Gabapeptine as seem to think I may also have Fibro. I have had to adjust the gaba and now decreased to 300mg x twice a day. However still pains elbows, hands, fingers really bad feet, and left side hip where the thigh meets and i get dead leg right down to foot also pains that I cannot sleep on that side. I have no energy levels still either. I have some amytrip left so I am thinking of taking them in addition. I am still working just 12 hours a week, the job is fsa sales and is very stressful so that makes me so very anxious. Next Friday I have to attend a works independent medical. I am getting nervious about it and worry that they may think I am faking an make me do full time again or leave. . .
Any way great news about you.
Take care x x
